The first thing I learned when I was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (CKD) was that it's very difficult to stop it getting worse.
And by 'worse' I mean ending up on a kidney dialysis machine. Hoping they find a suitable kidney donor before it's too late...
People still believe that CKD is a life-sentence. That there's no cure.
But, as my doctor explained, that's no longer true. It used to be true. But it's not anymore
I cured my CKD just over a year ago. It's gone - and it's never coming back. I feel absolutely wonderful!
