I was feeling blessed over my new part-time teaching job at the community college. Full-time work was what I really needed, but this was an exciting new start. My sister, niece and nephew had just moved here, to North Carolina, from Virginia and were trying to adjust. And, the function of the Holy Spirit in our day-to-day lives had been turning over in my brain for weeks, ever since we discussed it in our Wednesday Night Bible Study class. The Holy Spirit was a concept I was having trouble completely understanding. I had had an innate sense of right and wrong all of my life. Was that simply it? Our Bible Study leader explained it as God's way of speaking to us. Did he mean a voice? I just wasn't sure what he meant. I had been praying for God to help me understand.
