| Bigblue Cellpowa2500 Launches Compact 2500W Ultra-Fast Power Station on Indiegogo |
The Cellpowa2500 is an ultra-fast, portable power station, that weighs about 25 Kg and is about the size of a coffee maker. It can charge or power up to 15 devices and is a 1843.2 Wh LiFePO4 battery, delivering 2500W output continuous power, 2x 45W PD ports and 2x 100W PD ports, 6 AC outlets, and 2 USB fast charging ports. |

| Cypress Introduces the EZ-PD CCG3 USB Type-C Power Delivery Controller |
Cypress, an Infineon company has developed a Type-C Power Delivery controller that can charge and power numerous device types. From, notebooks, dongles, docking stations, and power adapters, this PD system is aiming to change how people use Type-C USB ports. The Cypress M0S8 proprietary technology is based on a 32-bit, 48MHz ARM Cortex-M0 processor. The standard will allow for the fast charging of a multitude of devices, not just the standard phones through power adapters. There is a Crypto engine for handling authentication. |

| Advantages and Uses of Rigid-Flex PCB |
Rigid-flex board, as the name implies, is a combination of a flexible board and a rigid board. It is a clever design and connection of a thin flexible bottom layer and a rigid bottom layer, and then laminated to form a printed circuit board. |

Analog and Power Fitting into Smaller Spaces
Circuit Cellar fans, this week we look at smaller and more powerful devices. Some of the newsletter articles are looking at analog devices that run a wireless component in the control spectrum, like ADI's wireless battery management system. Which is housed in the small spaces bordering battery inserts in automotive battery systems. The advent of a wireless battery control system through analog components is developing another aspect of the whole lifecycle of an EV. From concept through all stages of an electronic vehicle's life, until decommission, the battery system must maintain the highest level of security. Analog Devices' wBMS has been certified at the top of the cybersecurity standard. |

| The thing to remember is as devices and power supplies get smaller, they are pumping out more power. The Cellpowa2500 delivers 2500W of continuous power, in an ultra-fast portable power station. Comparable units are only delivering 1800W without all the features and ports of the Cellpowa2500. The power station is about the size of a coffee maker and weighs just 25 kilos. It is built to deliver power indoors or out and has a six-panel solar panel charging feature. A smaller package with a larger capacity. The power industry, especially the small USB Type-C power delivery system, is changing. Infineon's Cypress has now found it's capable of charging larger devices with a Type-C Port controller. |

The barrel connector is changing how people will power devices, a big development in the Power Delivery space. The USB Type-C port controller can deliver up to 21.5 V with independent supply voltage to a pin in the GPIO. Allowing 1.7V to 5.5V signaling on the I/O's. A development that will allow more devices to power and charge from a USB Type-C Port. For next week look out for Microcontroller Watch to look at the latest Arduino and Riots ware. |

Orange Pi launched a device that has a similar form factor as the Raspberry Pi 400. One of the differences between these two products is the integrated processor which is a six-core 64-bit Rockchip RK3399 found in the Orange Pi 800. The Rockchip RK3399 boosts a dual core ARM Cortex-A72 and a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53. |
