| SB Components has won Kickstarter funding for a $60 “PiFinger” HAT for the Raspberry Pi featuring a 2D capacitive fingerprint sensor with 176 x 176 resolution that can detect, compare and register up to 24 fingerprints. Available for order through Dec. 24, the PiFinger can also be purchased in a $100 package that bundles a Raspberry Pi 4 with 2GB RAM. |

| PICMG has announces that the COM-HPC specification has entered member review. The member review phase occurs after the technical subcommittee approves the specification and acts as a final review by all PICMG members in good standing. Reaching this approval step is a milestone in ensuring ratification will be reached in early 2021. |

| | | Tiger Lake Based NUC, Mini-STX and Mini-ITX Boards |
| ASRock unveiled a line of 11th Gen Core powered industrial SBCs including barebones NUC 1100, STX-1500 (Mini-STX), and IMB-1224 (thin Mini-ITX), plus Windows-based NUC BOX 1100 and iBOX 1100 mini-PCs. All the SBCs and the iBox system support the embedded focused Tiger Lake “E” models that were announced after the initial Tiger Lake launch. The NUC boards are also available with standard 11th Gen ULP3 models. |

| SGET (Standardization Group for Embedded Technologies) has announced the release 1.0 of the new OSM Computer-on-Module standard. OSM, which is short for Open Standard Module, defines one of the first standards for directly solderable and scalable embedded computer modules. The largest footprint of the OSM Computer-on-Module specification measures just 45mm x 45mm. |
