Qualcomm Presents Its Aware Platform with Four New IoT Devices

In February 2023 Qualcomm announced its new line of trackers and sensors which all fit into the new Aware Platform. The platform is an end-to-end Internet of Things system, with some note-worthy aspects.

The company is saying there are three pillars and four new devices all on schedule to arrive sometime in the near future. The three pillars of Qualcomm Aware are Industry-leading technology, an expansive hardware ecosystem, and easy-to-use, API-first design.

Softeq is Developing an ADAS that Analyzes Data from 15 In-vehicle Cameras

The Softeq Advanced Driver Assitance System (ADAS) is focused on monitoring weather, but most importantly also collision avoidance.

Softeq has designed the ADAS to be extensible to enhance any feature. That includes autonomous driving back to notify the driver about any situation on the road before them.

The system is set up for a Linux SMP architecture, developed to analyze data captured from 15 full HD cameras in real-time.

Tractian Launches Smart Trac a Predictive Monitoring and Management Sensor Portfolio

Tractian is ready to deploy its Smart Trac system of predictive tools and devices to monitor and manage machinery and assets.

The Smart Trac sensors collect temperature, vibration, and hour meter data. It sends that data back to the Tractian Platform for analysis. Users have access to the system, which carries information about machine health conditions in real time.

This week Circuit Cellar aficionados there is a Internet of Things market

within the Internet of Things market. Namely, the IoT sensor market. Overall this market has grown substantially over the past year. From 2021 until 2022 MarketsandMarkets.com has observed that the growth rate in IoT sensors was 33.78%.

In a short projection range, by 2026 the sensors market in IoT will reach USD $29.6 billion, up from USD $11.1 billion in 2022. That is a CAGR of 28.6% just in those four years.

This is not just consumer IoT, but the Industrial Internet of Things, where pressure sensors are forecast to grow at 33.73% alone.

The mountainous growth of IoT markets is reaching new heights. The global markets for IoT products will reach a revenue level of USD $650.5 billion by 2026 up from $300.3 billion in 2021.
