This approval extends all previously approved authorities.  In addition, CMS is approving new authority for the state to (1) expand the benefit package to include additional postpartum services and (2) move the demonstration from fee-for-service to managed care. Lastly, CMS is approving a technical change to increase the eligibility income limit from 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) to 204.2 percent of the FPL, to align with the current state limit and what was required in the special terms and conditions (STCs). The demonstration extension is effective July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2030. Todayâs approval and other administrative documents can be found on the Medicaid.gov demonstration page. | | |
