FRIDAY 23 DECEMBER 2016 COMPLETEMUSICUPDATE.COM
Hello there. As many of you will know, each week CMU Business Editor Chris Cooke and I sit down to talk through the biggest music business stories of the last seven days on the CMU Podcast.

If you haven't listened before, this week's edition is a great place to start. It's a bumper double edition looking back at the most important stories, trends and developments in the music industry in 2016. Plus a few of the things that made us laugh the most.

Click here to listen to the episode, and to find out how to subscribe to receive new ones automatically when we return in January.

All past episodes are still available on our feed - or here online - if you want to delve further into any of the topics discussed! And to help, I've picked out some key editions from 2016 below.

Recording the CMU Podcast is one of my favourite weekly tasks, so a big thank you to all of you who do listen. Whether this is the first edition you've listened to, or you've been tuning in for years, I hope you enjoy the extended review of the year episode and will come back for more in 2017.

And thank you, of course, to the CMU Podcast's sponsor 7digital for continuing to make it all possible.

Oh, and once again, have a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
