Good morning and Happy Easter. Here are some of the day's top headlines. Renewable energy windfall? Just as coastal restoration money from the BP oil spill is set to run dry, lawmakers are looking at offshore wind farms as a potential new source of revenue. State Rep. Joseph Orgeron, R-Golden Meadow, is proposing measures that would dedicate state revenue from offshore renewables to coastal projects and Louisiana's congressional delegation is looking at similar proposals, Mike Smith reports. Sickle Cell Treatment: Children's Hospital New Orleans will be the only hospital in the state, and among the first in the country, to offer two new gene therapies to treat sickle cell anemia. But the high cost of the revolutionary treatments will limit how many patients can benefit from them. Emily Woodruff has the details. Sprucing up Jefferson's housing: Jefferson Parish's housing stock was largely built in the 1960s and 1970s and it's starting to show its age. And that can be a problem when the parish is trying to woo out-of-town businesses. A pilot program aims to improve the curb appeal by offering grants to improve the façades of 30 homes in Terrytown.
