| | Platform of Women: Connections through shared stories and poetry Get ready to be inspired! "Platform of Women" is a creative community initiative bringing local women together through the simple joy of sharing life experiences and stories. This nurturing space is about exchanging insights, making new friends, and hearing from captivating guest speakers. Our next event on 28 August at 6pm will be an enchanting evening of poetry. With our fabulous local poet Jaya Penelope to set the tone, you'll also have the chance to share your poem in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a poet or just a fan of beautiful words, we'd love to see you there. | | Lace up your sneakers for the Bibra Lake Fun Run! Get ready to lace up your sneakers because the iconic Bibra Lake Fun Run is back for 2024! The Bibra Lake Fun Run is about fun, fitness, and community. We welcome participants of all ages and fitness levels, offering 6km and 12km courses around beautiful Bibra Lake. Whether you're a runner, walker, wheelchair roller, pram pusher, or have pets on leads, you're welcome to join! Enjoy cash prizes or enjoy the free sausage sizzle and morning's entertainment. Get up close to reptiles from WA Wildlife, play curling, check out the Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade trucks, or join 'Froggy's Fun on the Green' for kids aged 0-5.
