When will the consumer finance startup go public?
| Hi, How do you take a high-flying internet company and get it ready to become a high-flying, publicly traded internet company? It’s a question on a lot of people’s minds right now, as a wave of tech companies have gone public, are about to go public, or are thinking about going public. Anthony Noto is in the last camp: His SoFi consumer finance company has been looking at an IPO for a bit but has yet to dive in. We’ll talk to him about that decision — and everything that goes into it — at Code Conference in June. Noto has been a top executive at Goldman Sachs, the NFL, and most recently Twitter. But SoFi is his first CEO gig, so we’re eager to learn how that experience differs from his other jobs — and what it’s like to take the reins of an internet company when its original CEO has been pushed out. You can join us June 10-12 for that talk and many more at Code’s new location — The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona. Kara and Peter |
