Corporate Foundations in a Changing World
New Research Report

A new research report released by Corporate Citizenship reveals that change is afoot for corporate foundations. The traditional philanthropic cheque writing model is no longer adequate and many corporate foundations are now upping their game and embracing some truly innovative strategies in order to drive change.
Nearly three quarters (73%) of corporate foundations surveyed by Corporate Citizenship said that their giving strategy is linked to its parent company’s business focus – this has increased from 58% who said so in 2013. The research report also identifies six key characteristics that game-changing corporate foundations are exploring in order to innovate for impact.

A complementary event for corporate foundations will take place in London on Tuesday 24th January. Join Amanda Jordan OBE, Co-founder of Corporate Citizenship and Chair of the Association of Charitable Foundations (ACF) and Monique Villa, CEO of Thomson Reuters Foundation as they explore the role of corporate foundations in a changing world.

An Introduction to the RobecoSAM Corporate Sustainability Assessment - 30th Jan, free event
The evening is designed as an introduction to DJSI and for those who are new to responding to the annual questionnaire. The event offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices.
Practitioners Day for RobecoSAM Corporate Sustainability Assessment - 31st Jan, £950 + VAT
This is a full day event for those in companies who work on the annual RobecoSAM Corporate Sustainability Assessment - the questionnaire for DJSI. Participants will leave the day with enhanced understanding of the system, insight into how to improve their annual return and consequently to maximise their scores.

Be Ready for the Transition to GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards
Upcoming training course: London

The Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI)’s G4 Guidelines are the world’s most widely used sustainability reporting disclosures. In October 2016, GRI launched the latest evolution of the guidelines – the first global Sustainability Reporting Standards.

This GRI-certified training programme in London will introduce you to the elements of a good sustainability report and prepare you to co-ordinate the sustainability reporting process using the latest guidance from GRI.
Corporate Citizenship's next training course will take place on the 11 - 13 January 2017. The training will consist of a two-day intensive workshop (GRI G4 Training) followed by GRI’s additional half-day Transition to Standards module, which will guide you through the latest evolution of the reporting disclosures.
