Start planning now for individual, family and best hand made costumes – the competition is sure to be tough. Everyone in costume will march in the percussionist-led costume parade. Meet police officers and fire fighters! We wouldn't be hosting a SAFE event without our community partners in the San Antonio Police Department and San Antonio Fire Department. Both organizations will be joining in the festivities, and you might even get to see Sparky and an antique fire truck.

KSAT12 held its first big public event during Fiesta and treated several hundred local guests to a fantastic experience with loads of fun. "The goal is to continue that tradition of bringing people together to celebrate in a fun, family-friendly environment," said Lane.
