Dear Friends, Today is World Cancer Day, an opportunity for the world to unite together in the fight against the global cancer epidemic. Notable strides have been made against cancer, and we salute all the researchers, healthcare providers, survivors, patients, friends, and families battling this disease. But we know there’s much more to be done—at the individual and collective levels—to fight cancer. MIT’s Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Researchis answering the call to action by using convergence—the foundation of its unique research model—to bring research progress to more patients, faster.
