LinkedIn is rolling out a scheduling tool, signified by a clock icon, on its website and app that enables users to select a date and a time slot on the hour or half hour for posts to go live, reports researcher Matt Navarra. The move follows internal tests that reportedly began in August.

However, Julia Pollak, chief economist at ZipRecruiter, notes that it will be difficult for companies to walk back some of the changes they have made with remote work. "Once you hire a remote employee who lives elsewhere -- as many companies have -- it's very hard to insist that people who live near the office come in all the time," Pollak said.
Forty-one percent of job postings in the US include a requirement for a college degree, a drop from 46% at the beginning of 2019, per the Burning Glass Institute. A tight labor market is contributing to the trend, and companies such as IBM, Walmart, Delta and Google are taking advantage to hire workers based on their skills rather than their education.
