View email online | | | | | Apr 20, 2020 | | | | | | So just what will be the way out of lockdown? As we enter the fifth week of homeworking and homeschooling, it’s fair to say that the novelty has definitely worn off. However, for many it has also been a time of self-discovery. For me, I have found that I do have the self-discipline to work from home ... even though it is not something I would choose to do. The key is to set a structure and stick to it. Do the same things at the same time, including taking breaks and ensuring that you switch off - pretty difficult when your computer is sitting in the middle of the kitchen table. Listening to the experts it appears that our best chance of getting back to normality is a vaccine, given that having had Covid 19 seems to be no guarantee you won’t get it again. The scientists currently working in their labs to find that vaccine have my admiration. They hold the key to all our futures - a big challenge, but one they are up to. I wish them - and you - luck. Stay safe, Gillian Parkinson Editor | |
