These specialized tours focus on Boundless, a public sculpture by artist Stephen Hayes commemorating the United States Colored Troops (USCT) and their fight for freedom during the Civil War. Through a lively presentation and discussion led by Cultural Curator, Daniel Jones, learn about the significance of the Battle of Forks Road, and the continued research of the soldiers and stories that led to the Union capture of Wilmington.
This tour takes place outdoors at the PNC USCT Park and does not include the gallery exhibitions. |

March 20 - October 5, 2025 Helen Frankenthaler, Richard Diebenkorn, and Robert Rauschenberg created essential works in the mid-20th century, forever changing what American art would look like and what it could mean to us.

April 25 – September 7, 2025 We Belong Here: The Gutierrez Collection is the first public exhibition of contemporary art collected over the past decade by North Carolina collectors Onay Gutierrez and Jeff Childers. In their words: “The Gutierrez Collection creates a space for dialogue and understanding across diverse identities and perspectives.”

June 7 – October 12, 2025 Space Makers: Art and Disability in North Carolina highlights the powerful and diverse voices of artists with disabilities across North Carolina. This exhibition invites viewers to reflect on access, ability, and expression, offering intimate glimpses into each artist's lived experiences and creating space for dialogue, understanding, and connection.
