This is already happening in many states with registration and simple tasks. We will see more of it and it will expand to more functions. We are in a digital world and convenience is a continued focus for both user and supplier. Grocery stores create the medium and add a layer of simplicity while benefiting from the additional traffic. First time I’m hearing of it and it’s hands down absolutely genius. Hope more states hop on the trend (I’m looking at you Pennsylvania!) to save drivers time and money. Putting these kiosks in chain drug stores would provide excellent accessibility. At CVS we can already take passport photos, pay toll bills, ship out UPS packages, and more… this would be another great service we can provide to our customers. Pedro Guzman, Transportation Manager
Albertson in Las Vegas already does this and the DMV promotes the kiosk so the actual office gets less traffic. There can be lines inside of the stores at times but the overall trip and wait is much shorter than visiting a physical office. Very convenient as you can use it any time vs having an appointment. It sounds like the majority of you see this as a good opportunity. Do we have that right? **
