| | In a nondescript brick building that used to house the University of Utah’s law school library, interdisciplinary teams of students in the university’s games programs are huddled in groups working toward an approaching deadline to complete video games that will launch at a public event on campus on April 24. “It’s really remarkable for our students, because many of them have never seen people play the game that they’re making. It’s like opening night for a play when you go up on stage and people gasp or react and you can hear them in the audience,” Michael Young, chairman of the university’s top-ranked Games Division said. |

| A crowd cheered for U.S. Senate candidate Trent Staggs at Riverton High School Thursday night alongside the self-described “Trumpiest Congressman,” Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz. The assortment of state delegates, Republican primary voters and Utah residents were gathered to hear Gaetz’s endorsement of Staggs, one of 11 Republicans running to replace Sen. Mitt Romney. “I saw in Trent Staggs someone who used local government leadership to push back in a brave way and we need to be able to draw on that in Washington a great deal more," Gaetz told the Deseret News.
