BY DOUG GRAHAM | Staff writer A battle over "inappropriate" content in the young adult and children's section of the Livingston Parish library system has reignited under a new council and parish president administration. Some members of the new council have floated the idea of reducing the system's funding. The library director says any reduction in funds would mean a reduction in services. Of the 10 costliest storms in U.S. history, all but one have come in the past 20 years, further evidence of how climate change is causing more intense storms. LSU football coach Brian Kelly has been looking for an offensive coordinator since Mike Denbrock left last month for the same job at Notre Dame. Apparently he has found the right person for the job … well, two people actually. Quarterbacks coach Joe Sloan and wide receivers coach/passing game coordinator Cortez Hankton will be promoted to co-offensive coordinator, sources confirmed Tuesday to The Advocate.
