A federal judge has ruled that a New York-based Christian photographer must provide services for same-sex wedding celebrations despite holding religious objections to gay marriage. The Alliance Defending Freedom, who is representing photographer Emilee Carpenter in her legal proceedings, says, "The court’s decision continues down a dangerous path of the government compelling artists to speak messages that violate their religious beliefs — or imposing steep fines, closing their businesses, or throwing them in jail."
Former President Donald Trump is expected to celebrate Christmas with one of the strongest supporters of his presidency, Pastor Robert Jeffress, at First Baptist Dallas church on Sunday as he continues “The History Tour,” which takes a look back at his time serving as the 45th president of the United States. The National Collegiate Athletic Association is doubling down on a commitment to “gender equity” as concerns grow about the impact of allowing biological males who identify as females to compete in women’s sports. In response to a draft constitution released last week where the association outlined its commitment to "diversity and inclusion" and "gender equity" among its core principles, Patrick Reilly of the Catholic education-focused Cardinal Newman Society addressed the potential implications for religious institutions of higher education, cautioning that the draft's vague rules could lead to excluding religious colleges if they refuse to "abandon their Catholic mission and conform to gender ideology by allowing biological males to play on girls’ sports teams and enter locker rooms."

The poll also found that the share of voters who viewed the Salvation Army as “very favorable” or “somewhat favorable” dropped from 81% to 41%, while those who had a “somewhat unfavorable” or “very unfavorable” view of the Salvation Army increased to 41% from 11%.
