Jesus Lives There is a worship song with the lyrics, “Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives, all fear is gone. Because I know who holds the future and life is worth the living just because He lives.” In Matthew 28:6, the angel said to the women who were at the tomb, “He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. | These words changed the future of mankind forever. Jesus’ resurrection proved that he is God and that He can be trusted. In John 2:19, Jesus had told the Jews, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days,” (NIV). Jesus was referring to himself. Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried through?” (NLT). 
Because Jesus lives, we can encourage others to put their faith in him for their salvation and protection. Acts 16:31 promises, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ (give yourself up to Him, take yourself out of your own keeping and entrust yourself into His keeping) and you will be saved, (and this applies both to) you and your household as well, (AMPC).
