Statistics from more than 3,000 institutions.
Colleges across the country are working to close racial equity gaps, expand diversity initiatives, and eliminate structures that hinder the growth of an increasingly diverse faculty body. It is critical that campus administrators and leaders have access to the most up-to-date data on faculty race, ethnicity, and gender to be better equipped to address the changing demographics in the country and increase diversity on their campuses. The Chronicle's Faculty Diversity dataset includes statistics from more than 3,000 Title IV-compliant, degree-granting institutions. The dataset includes race and ethnicity information by count and percentage by faculty rank, as well as identifying information on the colleges including sector, state information, and Carnegie Classification.
