GM buys Cruise in a reported $1B+ deal. In a move into driverless cars, General Motors announced this morning that it will purchase self-driving tech startup Cruise, in a deal reported to be above $1B. The price tag represents a huge premium over the $90M that Cruise was last valued at in September of 2015 when it raised a $12.5M Series A led by Spark Capital.
