However you feel about the world of cryptocurrency, the bottom line is that it is simply too big to ignore. It’s a $2 trillion market that is highly volatile and being advertised to consumers nearly 24 hours per day. Clients are hearing about it, and they have questions.
It’s encouraging to see the work happening on this front from Interaxis, which merged with CPE World this week to boost its platform to educate financial services professionals on cryptocurrency, blockchain technology and decentralized finance. As co-founder Adam Blumberg told me, they aren’t selling any products or technology, and they aren’t even recommending advisors invest client assets into it. It’s giving the advisors the information they need to answer questions effectively.
