PRODUCTION & DEVELOPMENT HBO veteran David Levine has found a new gig as president of television at Anonymous Content, where he’ll oversee the TV division, development and production of projects. The move watermarks the rapid growth of Anonymous’ television business; the company came on to the TV scene in 2014 with True Detective, which Levine shepherded at HBO. Other gems in its television crown include 13 Reasons Why, The Alienist, Berlin Station, Maniac and Mr. Robot. Levine recently exited HBO after 10 years, most recently serving as EVP and co-head of drama. The comeback story continues. NBC renewed Brooklyn Nine-Nine for a seventh season. This will mark the series’ second season on the Peacock net, which rescued the show after it was canceled by Fox. Book Of Enchantment, which centers on some of Disney’s most popular villains, is in the works at upcoming direct-to-consumer platform Disney+. From Michael Seitzman (Quantico, Code Black), ABC Signature Studios and Seitzman and Christina Davis’ Maniac Productions, series is an adaptation of the Villains book series penned by Serena Valentino. The project reportedly has been in development for more than six months, with Seitzman serving as showrunner. Strike Back will have one more season on Cinemax. The signature original drama series got the thumbs up for a seventh run, an early renewal for the show which currently is airing season 6 through March 29. Series follows the escapades of Section 20, an elite, multinational, covert special ops team. Acorn TV ordered a third season of drama Agatha Raisin, marking the first renewal for one of the streamer’s originals. Titled simply 90210, the new serialized drama, from CBS TV Studios, has a six-ep order and follows the meta plotline of the series stars coming back together to reboot the series.
