ESPN and Facebook entered into a new agreement that brings exclusive digital shows and content to the Facebook Watch platform that includes The People’s MMA Show, additional segments from Always Late with Katie Nolan, and exclusive versions of Countdown to GameDay and Fantasy Focus Live. CBS Sports’ first national game of the 2019 NFL season on Sunday ranks as its highest opening national game rating of the season in four years as the 4:25p window delivered a 14.2/29 average household rating/share in the metered markets, up 1% over last year’s number. Through the first three weeks of the NFL season, The NFL on CBS’ season-to-date rating is its highest in three years, up 4% and averaging a 10.9/24. Finally, FOX Sports reports that the network’s week 3 singleheader drew an 11.6/25 in metered markets, up 40% over last’s year’s comparable matchup. Season to date, The NFL on FOX is averaging a 11.6/25, up 7% over last year. Tennis Channel is going bi-coastal, opening a fully equipped broadcast control room on the site of the USTA National Campus in Orlando, designed to give the network a year-round presence at the training center for elite American professional and junior players. The facility, which establishes an East Coast production base for the West Coast-based network, provides Tennis Channel with greater access to National Campus competitions and players, in addition to Florida's tennis community.
