Will NY workers who aid disabled finally get living wage?

Jennifer is one of eight adults with severe disabilities living at the group home run by Jawonio, a non-profit that serves those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and people with chronic medical needs. As wages for group home workers are set by the state, jobs remain empty and group homes around the state are being shuttered. Pierre and other workers say that they can’t make ends meet on the hourly wages set by the state.
