Good evening,

Our experiences during the last few months will have been as individual as we are.
For some those weeks when we were locked inside our homes for most of the time will have been a positive experience - a chance to connect or reconnect with family, take a breath from our busy lives and even learn a whole new set of skills, from baking to painting.
If your glass is half full, you can usually see a positive in the most adverse of circumstances.
But for others lockdown was a stressful time and things may not have improved too much since.
Worries about money and the viability of our jobs in the longer term, fears of contracting the virus or just being isolated from family and friends have all taken their toll.
Today we are telling some of those very different stories - along with hopes for the future. We may have spoken to a handful of people, but in amongst them you may well find something which strikes a chord.
And that may mean that all of us realise we are not alone in our fears. That can only be a good thing.

Thanks for all your emails. It's great to hear from you and I'm doing my best to answer as many as possible, so keep them coming at gillian.parkinson@jpimedia.co.uk

Take care until next time,

Gillian
