1955 - President David O. McKay and his wife Emma Ray, joined the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for its first concert of a European tour in Glasgow, Scotland. During the tour of Europe, ground was broken for the London Temple and the Bern Switzerland Temple would be dedicated.
