SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY Mosiah 4:30
But this much I can tell you, that if ye do not watch yourselves, and your thoughts, and your words, and your deeds, and observe the commandments of God, and continue in the faith of what ye have heard concerning the coming of our Lord, even unto the end of your lives, ye must perish. And now, O man, remember, and perish not. Click Here!

QUOTE OF THE DAY Ezra Taft Benson
“You are the stage manager—you are the one who decides which thought will occupy the stage. Remember, the Lord wants you to have a fullness of joy like His. The devil wants all men to be miserable like unto himself. You are the one who must decide whose thoughts you will entertain. You are free to choose—but you are not free to alter the consequences of those choices. You will be what you think about—what you consistently allow to occupy the stage of your mind” (“Think on Christ,” BYU Devotional, October 11, 1983). For more Quote of the Day Click Here!
TODAY IN CHURCH HISTORY September 1, 2021
1910 - Columbia Phonograph Company, with two large horns, similar to those seen in photographs of old-time phonographs that were 56 inches long and 2 feet wide at the opening and were suspended from a rope strung from the balcony on either side of the choir seats in hope to capture the choir sound, made the first recordings of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. They first recorded, "We Thank Thee, O God, for a Prophet," which was not deemed good enough for public release, and thus has been lost to history. They then recorded, "Let the Mountains Shout for Joy," which Columbia then reproduced for sale. For More Church History, Click Here!
