VIDEO: Aerial footage captures magnitude of Texas apartment complex fire
Fueled by high winds, a fire quickly destroyed the Liberty Apartments in Killeen Sunday afternoon. Killeen Fire Chief Jim Kubinski said by the time firefighters arrived it had already begun to spread out of control. In the video, the flames can be seen burning through the roof of the entire complex.

South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster declared a state of emergency Sunday as wildfires in the Carolinas and Georgia scorched thousands of acres and forced people to flee their homes. More than 175 fires were burning in South Carolina, the governor's office said earlier Sunday, fueled by unusually dry conditions and gusty winds.

A Prince Frederick, Maryland, man who films fire-related emergencies for social media content was arrested and charged on Friday on charges related to intentionally setting a vacant building on fire and alerting first responders to the scene, state officials say.

Video captures FedEx plane's engine in flames after bird collision
A FedEx cargo plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Newark Liberty International Airport after colliding with a bird shortly after takeoff, igniting an engine fire. Footage captured just before 8 a.m. on Saturday shows flames erupting from beneath the aircraft as it ascended.
