You are not orderly deeply within yourself, and so you discipline yourself from morning to night, as so many people do. So many so-called saints have forced themselves, disciplined themselves to conform to a pattern they have established for themselves, or has been established by another. They are trying all the time, disciplining themselves, and that very act of conformity and forcing is violence, from which they are trying to escape. So they are not free from violence.
