J. Krishnamurti Online

Can the mind be free of death, which is, not to be of the stream? The stream is time – the stream created by thought as culture and religion. So the stream is thought, is created by thought – the technological stream and the cultural stream. Thought is time, and thought is death, which is, thought-time is death. So the mind says, ‘Is it ever possible to be free of death?’ Not what continues after death, which has no meaning.
