J. Krishnamurti Online

You never look at the fact, you only look at associations and opinions about the fact. This prevents seeing the fact that I lie or that I am ambitious, or envious or greedy. What takes place when I look at something without opinion? Opinion is the past remembrance about that fact. Can look at it without any hindrance? Psychologically, this is a fact. I can look at it without any sense of deviation, distortion. When I look at something without distortion, without opinion, without condemnation, that fact itself creates energy so that I can deal with it. Then I can find out why I lie and what I can do about it. If I do not have an opinion, judgement or evaluation about the fact, the fact itself creates that energy with which the fact can be dealt with.
