J. Krishnamurti Online

I say suffering can end. That is the ending of time. I say that. How do you listen to it, actually? I mean now – how do you listen to something? Do you listen or do you say, ‘Well, what does he mean by it? What does time mean? There are two kinds of time, psychological and chronological. What will happen if I live without time?’ Your brain is receiving that statement and whirling around, chasing it, But if you say, ‘I will listen to what he says,’ that means you are listening with tremendous interest, attention, care and affection – all that is involved in it – then you jump out of your skin!
