| ConvergenceSunday, January 21 - 4:00PM & 6:30PM
Convergence has lovingly brought three decades of exciting and creative music together. Following this amazing span of collective listening, the band understands how each other breathes, musically speaking, and when to leave space in the air. A new Convergence recording, due out in early 2024, brings fresh and organically-inspired music. Many of the newest songs and pieces draw musical portraits of particular people, or times...or even a beloved dog. Their ethic--to collectively balance melody, harmony, and rhythm, and always swing--is well-expressed in the words of the great Jimmy Heath: "Jazz at its best is a democracy of creativity."

| Mark Patterson Presents Duets & More!Tuesday, January 23 - 6:30PM
This evening, trombonist Mark Patterson brings together Dale Bruning, master in many senses (of guitar, melody, rhythm, accompanying, teaching); Scott Robinson, a dazzling saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist who takes listeners to outer space and back; and Mark Simon, bassist who amazes with both solidity and flexibility as the moment calls. A great new view on the unique mind of Dale Bruning! This evening continues Dazzle's celebration of Dale's musicianship and influence on our whole world: Patterson's teacher (prior to several recordings together), and Simon's longtime cohort. It is exciting to bring together Scott (from New York) and Dale, two creative stars who burn brightly--in separate solar systems before now.
