Most of Neil & Karen’s shows are a quintet. Not for Dazzle @ Baur’s… we get 7+ and I just saw on Neil’s Facebook page that there will be 10 musicians! It’s going to be quite a show of swing, Latin jazz, jazz funk, and jazz classics.

Neil Bridge has accompanied so many world class jazz musicians. As an educator, he created / directed the DPS City Wide HS Jazz Combo. They won The Downbeat Award for #1 HS Jazz Combo in the U.S. Neil’s wife / muse Karen Lee says, “I am deeply thrilled to be singing.!”

This show is in loving memory of Legendary “PapiRay” Pacheco… our Conga player for decades!

Willie Green Project

Willie Green Project is a modern jazz quartet (sometimes a trio) born and bred in New Orleans, helmed by 28-year-old drummer Willie Green III.

Willie has toured as a member of Delfeayo Marsalis’ Uptown Jazz Orchestra, part of Betty Shirley’s band, and played alongside legends like Ellis Marsalis.

Ken Walker Sextet

The Ken Walker Sextet is an iconic and beloved jazz group which has played together for more than two decades. The repertoire ranges from jazz standards, to post bop tunes, original compositions, and always, always inspired by Eddie Harris!

SMRT

Friday, Oct. 29th - 10pm

SMRT is a groove based duo created by producer AJ Salas, and features many extremely talented local and national drummers. More often than not the group features a 3rd artist thus keeping things fresh and always improv-based. For this particular show, SMRT will feature Tarell Martin (Gerald Albrighte, PG6) drums. SMRT ranges from LoFi hip hop vibes to RnB, funk, house, and even drum and bass. If it feels good and grooves, they play it. You can find SMRT on all major digital platforms. Dripping in old Hollywood glam and garnished with a rockstar twist, Fia Nyxx has toured the U.S. and Asia. Since the popular release of her debut album ‘Everything Girl', Fia Nyxx has been featured on the back cover of Billboard Magazine and won a Telly Award for her debut music video, “Maybe Just Love Me.”

Dress up in your best costume and attend her ‘Monster Mash’ of a musical celebration! Fia will perform some of her new singles from her upcoming album, and some frightfully festive classics to get the party going!
