'Medically futile': The state has released its list of conditions that would create "medically futile" pregancies exempt from the state's trigger law banning abortion in Louisiana. Medically futile — not a medical term, as it happens — sounds specific, but it still leaves a lot of grey area under a law fraught with peril for healthcare providers, as doctors have told our health reporter, Emily Woodruff.
