Deborah Cheetham Fraillon's Eumeralla, a war requiem for peace, was written to tell the story of and commemorate the Gunditjmara people lost to the Eumeralla Resistance Wars. It's a story of Australia's dark past, but it's also a story of resilience and reconciliation.

Hear this important performance live on ABC Classic, 7:30pm Saturday 14 October, featuring soloists Deborah Cheetham Fraillon, Linda Barcan and Jud Arthur with the Melbourne Symphony orchestra conducted by Benjamin Northey, as well as four choirs, including Dhungala Children's Choir.
