NetApp [NTAP] - Last Close: $66.35 Strong earnings are lifting shares of NetApp in today's premarket. The cloud company's fiscal Q4 earnings of $1.54 per diluted share were up from last year's $1.42 EPS figure and beat the consensus of $1.34. Revenues fell to $1.58 billion from $1.68 billion a year ago, but still topped analysts' $1.54 billion estimate. NetApp's full-year fiscal 2024 guidance also surpassed the market's expectations. NTAP is leading the S&P 500 with a 6.8% gain on the news. My Take: NTAP has been trading erratically lately, but today's rally could put it into a new trading range, with support at the $67.50 mark. QuantaSing [QSG] - Last Close: $8.60 QuantaSing is also getting a boost from an early-morning earnings report. The company reported fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings of 0.13 renminbi per diluted share, up from 0.10 a year ago. Revenues of 807.2 million renminbi also marked a notable improvement from the year-earlier quarter's 690.9 million figure. QuantaSing expects fiscal Q4 revenues to range from 760 million to 7910 million renminbi. No consensus estimates were available for the report, but shares of QSG are up 24.8% after the report hit the wires. My Take: QSG is growing its revenues, but Chinese stocks are a little iffy right now. I don't think this is the one you want to take a big risk on. Wearable Devices [WLDS] - Last Close: $1.47 Wearable Devices just made a big announcement that's sending shares higher. Early this morning, the Israeli smart tech firm said it has commenced manufacturing of its highly-anticipated Mudra Band for the Apple Watch. Wearable Devices said it has already received thousands of preorders for the product so far. The Mudra Band allows for touchless operation of the Apple Watch using neural signals, and it can also utilize Air-Touch. WLDS is up 39.4% on elevated premarket trading volume after the announcement. My Take: WLDS has experienced significant volatility over the past couple of days, so there could be a pullback in the near future for this stock. Hoth Therapeutics [HOTH] - Last Close: $1.59 Hoth Therapeutics is trending after an analyst upgrade. Early this morning, EF Hutton analyst Elemer Piros initiated coverage on HOTH with a "buy" rating and a $14 price target. The exact contents of the analyst note weren't available at the time of writing, but shares are reacting favorably to the vote of confidence. HOTH is one of today's top premarket stocks with a 21.3% gain. My Take: HOTH is a very tiny stock that has struggled over the past few months. Maybe this analyst note can help it pivot in the right direction.
