Hello again, LSU fans. As usual, Thursday was a busy one around LSU sports, from a frustrating baseball game to news at spring football. We've got stories on all of it. Let's review. Baseball: LSU is still struggling on defense, and the problem ultimately caused a 5-4 loss to Arkansas. Maybe the Tigers can get back on track in the second game of the series. They have played better on the road, after all. Spring football: Running back John Emery left early practice with an ankle injury, but he said later "he's gonna be good," so you can breathe a sigh of relief. The rest of the practice report detailed the return of a player who's career seemed over, the offensive line and absences. Also, some of LSU's players recently signed contracts with a company that sells NFTs, an interesting twist on the NIL front. Basketball: Kim Mulkey this week hired a former longtime LSU assistant, and Matt McMahon officially added a fourth player from the transfer portal as he rebuilds a gutted roster. Softball: We'll leave you on a high note. Ali Kilponen has pitched a lot of great games for LSU, including a no-hitter. Her performance in a win over South Carolina was one of the best of her career.
