See ya Monday

Saturday is Junteenth, a holiday celebrating the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States. Last year, Technically Media decided to dedicate Juneteenth as a permanent, paid company holiday. This year, we're observing the day on Friday. That means no publishing from the newsroom, and no newsletter.

We're also hosting our first in-person (!!!) companywide meetup in 15 months tomorrow, in a park near our office in Philadelphia. In order to fully enjoy our time together, we won't be publishing a full slate of stories, and again, you shouldn't expect this newsletter.

So, we'll see you Monday, Baltimore. Happy Juneteenth.
