As we wave goodbye to October and look ahead into the Holiday season, we can't help but notice how much we have to be thankful for. Our wonderful staff continues to create innovative and fun events for guests to enjoy. Our in-house Chef continues to impress, as she is working hard in the kitchen to create a new seasonal menus to be enjoyed during our lunch service and private events. If you have not stopped in for lunch yet, we're open daily for lunch. Don't forget to enjoy with your favorite glass of Desert Wind wine. See our Fall menu. If you have not yet visited Desert Wind, we invite you to visit our Southwest-inspired tasting room during your next visit to Washington wine country. Here, you can chat with our knowledgeable team, browse a carefully curated selection of regional gourmet food products, wine accessories and gifts. On colder days, you can relax by the kiva fireplace; warmer days are perfect for taking in the view from our patio overlooking the Yakima River. Our November event schedule has been created by our team for your enjoyment all month long; take a look at each opportunity below and save the date, or purchase your tickets. Please note we will be closed November 27th & 28th to spend Thanksgiving with our families and friends, but we will be open the entire weekend after for our visitors. Gingerbread Build-Off with Memorial Health Foundation Nov.30th 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. Desert Wind Winery is hosting a Gingerbread build-off, benefiting the Prosser Memorial Health Foundation. Join us, as we gather to cheer on the teams assembling their gingerbread structures, and vote for your favorite. Guests are welcome to build their own gingerbread house along-side the action, DIY kits are available for just $20. Cascade Crust Wood-fired Pizza will also be donating a portion of sales to the Foundation from 11a.m. - 5 p.m. Shop holiday decor, and our unique gifts while visiting.
