dear designboom reader,
progress has been consistent on some ongoing skyscraper architecture projects. in saudi arabia, the new murabba has already completed 86 percent of excavation, marking a leap toward becoming the world’s largest modern downtown. construction also continues for zaha hadid architects as they advance in developing the central bank of iraq in baghdad.
other news in skyscraper architecture includes skidmore, owings & merrill starting construction on the CIMC global headquarters in shenzhen, a 53-story, 270-meter-tall building. the senna tower in brazil's santa catarina state is also scheduled to begin rising in late 2025, on its way to becoming the world’s tallest residential skyscraper.
thanks for reading!
