DO HO SUH: WALK THE HOUSE OPENS AT THE TATE MODERN

designboom attends the preview of Do Ho Suh: Walk the House at Tate Modern, the South Korean artist’s first major solo show in the UK in 20 years. Developed around recurring themes in the artist's practice, such as space, memory, identity, and the idea of home, the show brings together sculptures, video, drawings, and large-scale installations, presenting key works from the past three decades alongside new, site-specific pieces. 'We refuse to call the exhibition a retrospective or a survey,' Dina Akhmadeeva, assistant curator of international art at Tate Modern, tells us. 'Do Ho refutes the idea of a linear time.
