Thursday is here, so it’s time for another DPReview newsletter! Here’s a round-up of our latest news and features from the photo world.

Earlier in the week, we shared a hands-on review of the intriguing NONS SL660 Instax Square camera, as well as a final review of the Canon EOS R6 Mark II by DPReview TV. Erez Marom then kicked off the week with ‘Part 7’ of his ‘Landscape Composition’ and we followed it up with a brief explainer on our decision to not switch to Fujifilm’s new 56mm F1.2 WR lens as our X-mount studio lens.

Nikon kept the middle of the week interesting with a new firmware update for the Z50 and DPReview’s Jason Hendardy shared the features he’d most like to see in a proper hybrid camera.

Cosina’s Voigtländer 50mm F1 Aspherical lens is coming to Nikon Z-mount cameras

The new ultrafast manual prime for Nikon Z-mount cameras is essentially a re-mounted version of Cosina’s existing Voigtländer 50mm F1 Aspherical lens for Leica M-mount cameras. No pricing has been shared at this time, but the lens will be available next month.
