Howdy and welcome to the 864th DPReview newsletter!

This week we learned just a little bit more from Canon about the highly-anticipated EOS R3 body: it seems it will more closely resemble a mirrorless 1D X than we'd previously anticipated. We also found out about four new Nikon Z-mount lenses, including two macros shipping this summer and two F2.8 (budget-oriented?) primes, coming later this year. 

Meanwhile, Richard was busy exploring the phenomenon of increasing gear prices, while Carey took Pentax's classic 20-40mm F2.8-4 lens for a spin on the new K-3 Mark III body.
