This week's top real estate headlines

For months, rumors have been swirling that Jeff Bezos and his new love interest Lauren Sanchez have been house hunting in Los Angeles. Well, the rumors have turned out to be true. This week, the Amazon founder laid down some seriously big Bezos bucks for some top-notch real estate and bought not just one, but two shockingly expensive properties in the 90210. He shelled out $165 million for David Geffen’s legendary Jack Warner estate and $90 million for Enchanted Hill, an estate last owned by the late Paul Allen. Those are some "Prime" properties!

In other news, beauty guru James Charles made a $7 million off-market deal for an Encino mansion, the founders of Quest Nutrition are putting their protein bar empire profits to work in the real estate market, the wine country spread of the late "L.A. Law" creator Steven Bochco is up for grabs at $8.5 million, lowkey Hong Kong billionaire Karen Lo is finally doing something with her Holmby Hills property, Don Lemon is looking to move on from his Harlem condominium, DeAndre Jordan listed his luxurious Malibu mansion at a loss, up-and-coming actor Logan Shroyer bought his first home in L.A., and married actors Adam Brody and Leighton Meester are so over their Topanga mountaintop retreat.
