None other than Canadian singer/songwriter The Weeknd. His massive 13,500-square-foot mansion has nine bedrooms and eleven bathrooms, plus a five-car garage. Meanwhile, over in the Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood of Los Angeles, the estate of the late Lee Phillip Bell, creator of "The Young and the Restless," was put on the market with an eye-catching $39 million price tag. Her former home has seen quite a few Hollywood A-listers gallivant through its doors — it was once purchased by Howard Hughes and even rented by Katharine Hepburn.
In other news, Miley Cyrus sold her Malibu home in a hush-hush, off-market deal to songwriter Matthew Wilder, "Big Bang Theory" star Kunal Nayyar listed his secluded Hollywood Hills compound, "MadTV" sketch comic Michael McDonald is asking $3 million for his Tuscan-style villa, Carrie Brownstein is checking out of her Los Feliz cottage, comedian Russell Peters is hoping to bag $8.5 million for his Hidden Hills estate and horror screenwriter Chad Hayes put his Malibu getaway on the market for $1.25 million.
