Debuting for the Spring-Summer 2019, Lafont presents a capsule collection, combining eyewear craftsmanship and artisan jewellery expertise.

Lafont's new and exclusive statement piece, Les Délicieuses ("The Delicious") will catch the attention of fashion eyewear lovers worldwide.

The distinct cat-eye silhouette delicately frames the face with an array of details – bees, hearts and floral patterns adorn the eyes while Swarovski crystals add sparkling richness to the design.

Offered in five unique colour combinations – ebony, navy blue, aquamarine, classic tortoiseshell and dusty pink, each with their own ornamented motif.

The House of Lafont would like to express their gratitude for their valued partners. To highlight some of those exceptional partners, Lafont had the opportunity to interview Magali, an optician in the 5th District of Paris.

What is your first Lafont-related memory?

The first glasses I ever sold at Blereau-Donat were from Lafont! It was an AUDACE frame made of tortoiseshell and turquoise, with metal lace temples. It was a great success!

In your opinion, why does Lafont stand out?

There is a genuine Lafont spirit, equally liked by parents and children.

The Creative Studio provides the brand with a strong identity. Lafont's style is bold, elegantly original, but never eccentric!

The collections have always been consistent throughout the years. Your frames stand the test of time. True creative work is reflected in their shapes, materials, and colours. Customers are never disappointed by Lafont's frames. I have also noted a genuine attachment to French manufacturing.

Beyond collections, Lafont's world is also reflected in the point-of- purchase (POP) displays which enable us to elegantly showcase the frames in our shop window.

And of course, I rush every year to the Silmo show to discover your new releases, amazingly staged at Lafont's booth!

What is your favourite model?

The BROOKLYN frame, both in optical and sunglass! I love the subtle mix of materials and its lightness. I personally wear the rose gold sunglass.
